Sorry for a serious downturn in blogging of late. Life has taken a pause for a couple of weeks, with very little happening, except Manchester Pride, a weekend where I spent three days pissed. I did nowt embarrassing, got in a few slight fights and drank a lot.

Myke's on holiday in Gran Canaria, and I'm home, holding the fort. So it is quiet... too quiet. I'm even talking to myself...

Sunday saw us doing gardening. We finally got all the railway sleepers in around the lawn, and levelled then reseeded the lawn itself.

While in the shower, Myke called me from downstairs. He shouts up:
"You've got an e-mail. You won that amplifier on e-bay..."
I paused, mid scrub. Thought to myself Amp? What amp did I bid on? And, more to the point, shit HOW FUCKING MUCH MONEY HAVE I JUST SPENT?!
"Errr..." says I, "Which amp was that? I actually can't remember..." Bites knuckle nervously.
"It was a VOX AD30VT. You got it for £87.51"
"Oh right, that one! And fuckin woohoo - that's one hell of a bargin!" (£170 new)

Monday morning saw us get the van signed up:

And it looks bloody ace. Of course I would say that, I designed it.

Monday Evening saw me pick up the aforementioned amplifier:

And quite frankly, it sounds ace!

Tuesday saw me pick up my new guitar, now named J30, which I ordered 11 weeks ago, which was a present to me from everyone who gave me money for my birthday. This custom made instrument is shown below:

And it sounds, looks and plays ace!

So far this week has been fookin superb!

As you can imagine, all this excitement has taken it's toll on my blogging, hence why I went rather quiet. However, I've read them all, just not had time to post any comments except the few where I just had to....

Have jet washed the van ready for it to be signed up tomorrow morning.

Have dug the garden over.

Have put in the last four railway sleepers.

Have got cider.

Have got fruit pastilles.

Have got perfect receipe for a hangover then.

I've not had the chance to make up a poem
my time of late has been less than free
