The challenge is to list your favourite genre of music, then list your favourite song outside that genre.
My favourite genre is Heavy Rock/Metal, 70's to nowies.
My favourite piece that doesn't fit this is:

Favourite Genre... good old straight down the middle "POP" the pulse of the nation. But I genuinely do like all genres so what would be outside that? I do have a tape of Tibetan Monks droning and chanting... Incredible.
Just realised... I'm not fond of Jazz. So... Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" is the correct answer

i love metal and goth and punk but i cant think of a song that i like that isnt metal or punk or goth

You should listen to some Mahler, or Holst. Heavy stuff that can rival goth and punk anyday! And just as emotive too!

You should try some jazz, there are remarkable similarities between jazz and metal, I never noticed it until recently, when I started learning to play jazz

i like folk metal i have listened to jazz i kinda admire all types of music in a way even computer game music i used to play piano when i was younger
