I seem to be getting good at escaping from contracts early without penalty... I've just managed it again with 3 mobile... Am now sat blogging on my new iPhone...

Hmm. Well, if you're happy with it, that's the main thing. The new version does have some nice features, but the essential things are the same.
If you don't already use Gmail, you might want to think about switching. You can sync your contacts and calendars over the air, and they're always backed up and up to date. If you have an email address you want to keep, you can set that up inside Gmail so you can still use it. The iPhone is VERY Google friendly.

simple. Cited failure to provide service as the signal has been really bad since orange turned a local mast off.

If the company receives enough bad complaints, they have to act. In this case, 3 mobile received over 100 complaints within the space of a week - I know this because the guy in the store told me!

I only went in to find out how long I had left on my contract, as I had found the signal had gotten piss poor in the last few months. That's when I found out why, and how many complaints he had!
